Getting to Lisbon

Lisbon’s Portela Airport is conveniently located just 7 km northeast of the city and receives over 13 million passengers per year. A new international airport is to be completed by 2017 in Alcochete, south of the Tagus. In the meantime Portela continues as a modern airport offering 24-hour facilities and a tourist information office open from 06:00 to 00:00.
