Taxis

Lisbon taxis are beige coloured, or black and light green, and a journey into the city centre should take 15-20 minutes from the airport unless there is a lot of traffic. Fares are lower than in Northern Europe, but there is a 20% surcharge at weekends, holidays and after hours, plus an extra charge of €1.60 if you have luggage to put in the trunk.
