The Strawberry World team, the President of the FEHT, Fernando Fraile González, the Mayor of Funchal, Miguel Albuquerque, and many other representatives of the official tourism board, major top hotels and Canarian tourism-related dignitaries

On the 22nd of July, Strawberry World in partnership with the FEHT (Federación de Empresarios de Hosteleria y Turismo de Las Palmas) launched its new Holiday Destination Guide to Gran Canaria (www.spain-grancanaria.com). The Gran Canaria Guide is part of a breed of new fast loading, no frills information sites and is based on the same model we have successfully developed for Madeira Island's Holiday Destination Guide. The launching ceremony took place at the Tivoli Ocean Park Hotel and was attended by the Strawberry World team, the President of the FEHT, Fernando Fraile González, the Mayor of Funchal, Miguel Albuquerque, and many other representatives of the official tourism board, major top hotels and Canarian tourism-related dignitaries. Another purpose of this event was also to announce the opening of Strawberry World's latest Travel Agency in the UK. This email and call center, which will operate with the same successful strategy already used in Madeira for more than five years, is dedicated to promoting and marketing the Canary Islands and Madeira.
