Mallorca Weather |
Mallorca enjoys a fabulous Mediterranean climate with lovely hot summers, mild winters and warm spring and autumns, so the island will provide a happy respite from the harsher climes of northern Europe at any time of year. Sunshine is abundant throughout the year. Most of the island’s rainfall comes during autumn and winter, falling with greater intensity on the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana. Despite the more rigourous winter temperatures and occasional snowfall on the mountains, early spring, when the slopes become carpets of blossoming almond trees, is a beautiful time to visit. If the nip in the air reminds you too much of home, then you have only to return to the coast and you will soon find yourself shedding the extra layers of clothing. |
